Showcasing Timber Partnerships in the Singapore Pavilion

In collaboration with Teknos and MOSO® Bamboo, Calvary Carpentry was honoured to exhibit at the Singapore Pavilion for ARCHIDEX Malaysia 2024, held at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). A Collaborative Singapore Booth

This year, we had the privilege of designing and fabricating a warm, inviting space within the Singapore Pavilion, in partnership with the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC).

We are deeply grateful to our partners and sponsors whose contributions were central to the showcase:

Our shared booth with SFIC, featuring Commune’s sofa collection, reflected Singapore’s design talent and commitment to advancing sustainable material innovation in Southeast Asia.

Day 1: A Meaningful Milestone

The first day of ARCHIDEX 2024 marked a significant moment for our team. We were honoured to share how Calvary Carpentry contributes to green building through sustainable, fire-rated timber materials in the presence of Minister Desmond Lee, Singapore’s Minister for National Development.

A Thoughtful Booth Experience

Designed fully by our in-house team, our corner booth offered dual entrances with a central screen to guide foot traffic naturally. The layout encouraged visitors to move intuitively through the space, exploring material samples, furniture, and technical displays.

Warm timber tones, reconstituted wood textures, and curated product displays offered a calm sensory environment, giving architects and developers a chance to appreciate the tactile qualities of timber up close.

A Meaningful Week at KLCC

Beyond the exhibition, we were grateful to reconnect with industry friends, partners, and new collaborators. ARCHIDEX 2024 is a reminder of how timber brings people together, through design, through innovation, and through the shared pursuit of a greener built environment.

This collective showcase highlights the importance of regional partnerships in accelerating sustainable timber adoption and elevating design possibilities.
