ALPI is a leading manufacturer of decorative surfaces made of reconstituted wood. The company was the first to industrialise this process. ALPIlignum veneer is made of real wood, produced by taking apart and putting back together a tree-trunk. This creates a material that is not printed, but so designable as to offer limitless aesthetic results.

ALPI stands out for its direct control of the entire supply and production chain, from the log to the finished product, through forestry management by means of the chain of custody guarantees the legal and sustainable origin of wood, and total product traceability.
ALPI veneer is made with wood from responsibly managed forests certified by the FSC®-C004666.

ALPI veneer is processed natural wood – poplar, basswood and ayous. The magic begins when the tree-trunks are peeled into a long ribbon. This is cut into sheets, which are then dyed, glued, stacked and pressed into a block that is essentially a new trunk. When sliced, the block will generate a pattern and colour that can be repeated over and over. The resulting veneer is used in a wide array of sectors (from automotive to shipbuilding and aviation) and for furniture, product design, interior decoration and architectural contracting services.
Over the years, we’ve completed timber works in homes, commercial spaces, and public spaces that endure heavy use. Understanding different needs, from durability, aesthetics to sustainability, we have continually evolved our products to meet the ever-growing demand for timber.
